Backyard Transformation

Backyard Transformation

Springfield, NC

Paver patio at dusk with built-in seat walls, cap lighting, and a glowing fire table

The homeowners wanted a place to gather outside after dark — somewhere that felt like an extension of the living room rather than a separate patio dropped into the lawn.

The challenge

The yard sloped toward the house and held water after storms. Any new hard surface had to fix the drainage, not add to it, and the space needed to feel enclosed without blocking the view.

Our solution

We regraded the yard and built the patio with a planned pitch to a new outlet, then framed the space with seat walls at a comfortable height. Cap lights and a fire table give it a warm glow at night, and new planting softens the edges.

Construction

Base preparation, drainage, and structure — the parts you won't see later, but the reason it lasts.

  • Crew installing a stone walkway through a side yard
  • Evening view of a stone seating area with lit seat walls around a fire table
  • Lit seat wall and fire feature on a backyard patio at night
  • Overhead view of a paver patio edged with landscape lights
  • Light paver patio enclosed by a seat wall with stone pillars

Let's build something worth coming home to.
